Baked Brie with Apples

Looking for easy appetizers???  I’ll be sharing a few of my favorite recipes this week!  First up, cheese….  because you can’t have a party without cheese!

This is a super easy and delicious appetizer that is naturally gluten free!  Serve this at your upcoming holiday parties or bring as a dish to share.

Baked Brie with Apples

  • 8oz wheel of brie or 1/4 wedge of a large wheel
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • granny smith apples, sliced
  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Place brie on a baking sheet (I line mine with foil for easy cleanup)
  3. In a bowl, combine pecans, honey and cinnamon.  Spread mixture onto brie.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is slightly oozing.
  5. Place on serving dish and serve with sliced apples.

*to prevent apples from browning toss them in a little bit of lemon juice after slicing

  • I’m gonna go buy some brie just to make this. Tomorrow. My fiance and I were just discussing our love of pairing cheese and fruit. It’s a regular snack here for us and my son. We all love it. I was perusing your other recipes and saw this for the first time. I’m going to have to find something other than pecans to add texture b/c of nut allergies but I’m making this all the same. I’ve heard of baked brie several times and have no idea why I haven’t tried it yet….this will be remedied soon. I’ll let you know how it turns out! Thanks again Michelle!! There’s a reason your site is always on my most visited list lol!
