DIY Mason Jar Jack-O’-Lanterns
I don’t know about you, but spending money on different holiday decorations adds up! That is why I am always trying to come up with fun crafts that I can make with things just lying around the house. These adorable “jack-o’-lanterns” will lighten up any mantle or windowsill. These bring the essence of Halloween without being too “themey”. You can keep them traditional or make silly faces. They are easy enough for kids to do, or cool enough for grownups to have fun with as well! If you mess up, no worries, you can clean off the jar and start over again. So here is what you need to get started –
DIY Mason Jar Jack-O’-Lanterns
- mason jars or vases
- dried red lentils
- black permanent marker
- tea light candles
- Draw faces/designs onto the jars.
- Fill with dried lentils.
- Place tea light candle on top.
- Light candle and voila, instant decor!
